Employees called to active duty are still eligible to participate in the company’s stock purchase program(s). This opportunity might include stock option accumulation and use, purchase of company stock under an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP), or the company’s personal investment program operated under IRS regulation 401 (k).

Note: By Federal law, employees must be allowed to “make whole” any missed 401(k) contributions and any missed company matching contributions for the entire period of military leave, up to 5 years.
