Employers United for a Stronger America was chartered in 2003 and qualifies under Section 501(c ) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code as a public charity. EUSA is organized and operated as an independent and autonomous corporation. EUSA mission is to function in close cooperation with the National Committee for Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR), an agency of the Department of Defense. Information about ESGR is available on their website, www.esgr.com
EUSA is a publicly supported group created to support ESGR, the employers of members of the Guard and Reserve, and the troops themselves. We recognize that the Reserve Component of our Armed Forces is a vital part of our country's defense and that these dedicated people must continually train and respond in times of emergency, crisis, or war.
To fulfill their mission the Guard and Reserve need the support of employers in times of peace and in times of trouble. Just as these brave men and women make sacrifices to serve our country, so must employers make sacrifices to support them.
Financial support for Employers United for a Stronger America comes from corporations, foundations, and individuals. Tax-deductible contributions are welcome.
EUSA, in its public service role, engages in outreach programs that support fulfillment of its mission to provide charitable services to members of the Guard and Reserve and their families.
Governance of Employers United for a Stronger America is accomplished through a community based board of directors. To communicate with us, you can send an e-mail to our president.
